Jesus prayed many prayers, but it seems that many who say they are His have missed the point of His teachings. How often did Jesus say to love one another? John 13:35 (KJV) “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”
The enemies of the cross of Christ give little attention to most Christians because Christians fighting other Christians give them a great advantage. Even they know that a house divided against itself cannot stand.
Christ is not divided, but many of His people are divided, and their divisions give place to the devil so that he can do his evil deeds with little to no resistance from Christians. Christians are supposed to submit to God and resist evil, but many are doing the very opposite. If church is a war zone, where are those seeking salvation supposed to go to find the rest for their souls that Jesus promised? Matthew 11:28-29 (KJV) “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
Over the years many have become un-churched because they found more problems in the church than they already had in their lives before getting “saved” or “born again.” Although this is a major problem, the worse thing I can see is that there is no help for the hurting who come to church to find God and Jesus, because so many Christians are giving place to the devil instead of resisting him.
Jesus corrected this problem, and His disciples addressed the envy, strife, jealousy, and other sins in the church. Once I loved and enjoyed going into the streets and preaching the gospel and inviting people to church. But my heart was broken when I saw what happened to many of them when I did take them to the churches that I was attending at the time. I actually cried. Then I saw in the word of God – the Bible – Matthew 23:15 (KJV) “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.”
Unfortunately, this is still happening, and while the church is divided souls are being lost and the nation is coming more and more under the control of the god of this world. 2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV) “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
When Jesus walked as a man in the earth He said that the prince of this world would be judged. He also said John 14:30 (KJV) “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.” Mark 11:17 (KJV) “And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.”
Jesus said a lot of things that have been ignored. Witches holding press conferences, Satanic Clubs in schools, Chaplains being put out of the military for praying in the name of Jesus, Drag Queens reading to our children, etc. and Christians are fighting other Christians straining at gnats and swallowing camels by the herds. Matthew 23:24 (KJV) “Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.”
STOP FIGHTING EACH OTHER AND STUDY THE BIBLE. THE GOSPELS WOULD BE A GOOD PLACE TO START. JESUS SAW THE DIVISIONS AND PRAYED FOR THEM TO BE ONE AS HE AND THE FATHER WERE ONE. JESUS CORRECTED AND REBUKED A LOT OF PEOPLE IN HIS TIME OF MINISTRY IN THE EARTH. FIND OUT WHAT HE CORRECTED, BE CORRECTED, AND JOIN HIM. Matthew 12:30 (KJV) “He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.”
JESUS IS COMING AGAIN, AND ONLY THE FATHER KNOWS WHEN, BUT WILL HE FIND FAITH IN THE EARTH OR STRIFE, AND CONTENTION, AND BITTERNESS, ETC.?. YOU CHOOSE. BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, OR CONTINUE AS YOU ARE. THE CHOICE IS YOURS. JESUS CAME AS SAVIOUR, BUT HE ALSO WANTS TO BE LORD. Matthew 7:21 (KJV) “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Luke 6:46 (KJV) “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”
