CHRISTIANS SHOULD KNOW THAT GOD HAS ALREADY WRITTEN WHAT TO DO ABOUT STRANGERS IN THE MIDST.

Immigration is not new. The scriptures call then strangers. Many Christians often quote the scriptures about being kind to stranger while ommitting the scriptures about how strangers are to dwell in their midst.

God has one law for the stranger and His people. Exodus 12:49 (KJV) “One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.”

Numbers 15:16 (KJV) “One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.”

Numbers 15:29 (KJV) “Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.”

We do not change our laws to accommodate strangers. Strangers commit to obey our laws. Joshua was deceived because of strangers. God had told them who to make covenant with and who not to make covenat with. Joshua made covenant with enemies because he believed their sad story, and did not inquire of the Lord until he found out that he had been deceived. Read Joshua chapter 9 and the chapters before and after to get the full understanding of what happened.

Some Christians have taken compassion, and love, and humanitarian efforts way past what is written. Yes, it is written to not mistreat the stranger. But it is also written that the stranger is to obey our laws.

Remember, also, that Solomon got in trouble because he allowed his strange wives to bring their gods with them, and even built temples for them. Read 1 Kings 11 to see how Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord, and it cost him the kingdom.

God has not changed, but some of those who say they are His have forsaken Him and gone after other gods.
